What to expect
We will communicate with you about where and when which is strongly weather dependent and will be confirmed 24 hours ahead of time. You will then meet your instructor at the decided location.
We take you through the basics of efoiling, including how to use the remote, safety in the water and the steps to follow once out in the ocean. Make sure you have your helmet and impact vest on!
The instructor will assist you getting into the water and on the board. Make sure you attach your leash! Then you will get the hang of the remote whilst lying on the board and cruising.
Once the instructor sees you getting the hang of cruising lying down, they will instruct you on getting to your knees, including where to put your knees and turning.
Once you are cruising successfully on your knees, you will be instructed to stand when comfortable. The instructor will assist you with feet placement, weight distribution and eventually how to get the board to fly!
Once you have the hang of flying and keeping the board out of the water, you can begin to try turning the board and doing carves from left to right. This is the final step to being an efoil master!
